From my experience I have always found the does to be more aggressive than the bucks. I have read many rabbit books which say it's the other way round but thats never been the case with me. All the bucks I have and all the ones that have passed away have always been more gentle natured than the does. Does mode swings cause the aggressive behaviour and I have found that once they have had a litter of kits they become more gentle natured but by saying this I am not trying to encourage anyone to start breeding just because of this. All this infomation is from my experience so it's doesn't mean it will be the same for everyone but I have had rabbits since I was born as my parents kept rabbits and the case has always been the same.
